（英語成語談）2：Armed to the teeth，全副武裝。從前在海上打劫西班牙商船的海盜，手舞刀槍，口中還咬一把短刀，故有此成語形容「全副武裝」，而在 teeth 前加定冠詞 the，有強調武裝齊全之意。
